I received a great e-mail with an attached photo from Joan Fogarty. Both are posted below.
"Here is a picture taken in August at lunch at Press & Bean when Regina Doran was home from Kissimmee, Florida, for a few weeks.
We are: Betty Fitzgerald, Joan Reynolds, Regina Doran, Rosemary Ashley, Patricia McCarthy, Judy Fitzgerald, Patricia Connolly, Kathleen Dobbin,and Mary Bulger (all maiden names)
We have class get-togethers three times a year: April, September, and December, and usually have approximately 15 - 20 in attendance. We also have spontaneous lunches if one of the girls is visiting from away. I can also forward pictures from our 50th reunion in 2008."

Beautiful picture of the ladies was very surprised to see my sister. (Patricia Connoly) My best memories were Mrs.Murphy in kindergarden and of couse who could forget Sister Patrick all us kids just lover her so much with her gental voice when she spoke to you it made you feel so special.. I loved going there hated Holy Heart of Mary.

ReplyDeleteNice to hear from you. I think we all loved Miss Murphy, didn't we. Sr Patrick never taught me but I remember her very well. After she retired from teaching, she was the sacristan for many, many years. This is a great picture isn't it. Would you happen to have any pictures or stories of your days at St Patrick's? If you do, I would love to have them to share on this blog. Anyway, thanks for looking in & for taking the time to comment. I hope you will keep in touch. Take care.
